Our class is offered as a view into the cuisine of the "Trattoria Garga," which was opened in 1979 by our chef Sharon Oddson and her husband, Giuliano Gargani. With more than 20 years of experience, Sharon teaches with passion the simplicity of the trattoria's cuisine. She will explain the importance of quality, seasonal ingredients, extra virgin olive oil, fresh herbs and produce, all of which are available in the local markets.
We prepare a four-course meal either in the trattoria kitchen or Sharon's nearby home kitchen, depending on the size of the group. The classes are small and intimate. Each participant will involve himself "hands-on" in the preparation of the recipes. Afterwards everyone sits down at the table to enjoy the fruits of their labor. Two wines will be appropriately chosen to accompany the meal. Participants are presented with a cotton shopping bag and a booklet containing the recipes and description of the wines.
Our lessons are by booking only, Monday through Saturday commencing at 12 noon and finishing at 4:30 p.m. The cost per person is 155 EURO and payable by cash only.
